Chairman of Guma Local Government Area of Benue State, Caleb Ana, has imposed a 12-hour curfew on Daudu community after days of unrest caused by allegations of missing penises.

Recall that young men in Daudu town had complained last week about missing male reproductive organs at an alarming rate.They claimed some members of the community were responsible for their missing organs and have since been on #rampage.

Irate youth had attacked a police station, threatening to burn it down over the development.Ana while speaking with journalists in Makurdi on Wednesday, said the curfew will be between 8:00pm to 6:00am daily until the security situation improved and calm was restored.

Ex-Ghanaian president, Jerry Rawlings, dies from #COVID-19

Former President of Ghana, Jerry Rawlings, is dead.He passed away on Thursday at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in #Accra.

A military ruler, who later joined politics, Rawlings ruled Ghana from 1981 to 2001.

He led a military junta until 1992, and then served two terms as the democratically elected #president of Ghana.He was born on June 22, 1947.

Man arrested for allegedly killing his #girlfriend in Lekki and secretly burying her

A 29-year-old man, Segun Titilayo has been arrested by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly killing and burying the corpse of his girlfriend, Oritoke Manni,25, in Lekki, Lagos .

It was gathered that the deceased who had already been declared missing, was traced to have communicated with the suspect last before her death.

According to the spokesperson of the state police command, Muyiwa Adejobi, said on October 13 at about 11am, it was reported that the #suspect, Segun Titilayo called the deceased asking her to come visit him in is house. That was the last time anyone saw Oritoke alive.

“However, on 7th November, 2020, one Engineer Adegbago  David,m, of a real estate company, reported to the Police Station at Akodo Area, Lagos State, that while the company was excavating its site at Otolu Town, their Caterpillar exhumed a decomposing corpse. The police detectives swung into action and the corpse was identified by the staff of the hotel to be Oritoke's.The corpse was evacuated to a public morgue for autopsy.

The police placed a manhunt on the suspect and was arrested. He is being detained at the SCID Panti and giving useful information to help the police in its investigation,” he said.

Former Governor Balarabe Musa is Dead

Balarabe Musa, a former Governor of Old Kaduna state is dead.

The former chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party, PRP, died today after a brief illness at 84-year-old.

Former Kaduna Senator, Shehu Sani, confirmed Mr Balarabe Musa’s death via his Twitter page.

He will be buried later in the afternoon.
